Volunteering fosters many desirable traits that all parents want their children to possess. However, many children wonder what’s going to be in it for them. How will it directly affect them and their well-being? Many organizations in and around Austin are at the forefront of answering this question and are giving children an incentive to participate in creating a culture of generosity in their community while also encouraging their entire family to join in.

Attention, local businesses owners!
We are happy to announce that we're going to roll out a new service free of charge for local businesses and invite you to participate in this program.
We are partnering with Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) of schools in the Austin area. As you may know, PTOs often seek fundraising support or donations for upcoming school events, such as raffle prizes, food and snacks, or other forms of donations. This is a great way for local businesses to give back to the community and, at the same time, to promote their products and services to families in the area.

Do you have Halloween costumes your child has outgrown of and that you'd like to donate? Or are you struggling to “pay the price of Halloween”? Read on to learn how Costume Connections (and you) can help.

The maternity package contains bodysuits, a sleeping bag, outdoor gear, baby bathing products, as well as diapers, bedding, and a small mattress. The cardboard box itself serves as baby's first bed and doubles as a crib.
Did you know that all expectant and new parents with infants 3 months of age or younger in Texas are eligible to receive a free Baby Box? Read on for details.

The average costs for school supplies every year is $35 which creates an extra burden for already challenged families as well as for teachers, who often spend their own money buying missing supplies for their classrooms and students.
In order to ease the burden of both families and teachers, school districts that are continuously facing tighter budgets, are trying to outsource the financial obligation by requesting that parents help provide these supplies.
Here is a list of Back-to-School Programs and School-Supply Drives in and around Austin.
