Family-friendly Books & Bees Festival at the Hill Country Galleria

Come out and bee happy!

Books & Bees Festival
The City of Bee Cave and the Bee Cave Public Library will host their fourth annual free Books and Bees Festival on April 12 at the Bee Cave Galleria.

As a hub of literacy for children and adults, our Bee Cave Public Library hosts programs year round that serve hundreds of families in the area and beyond. As a Bee City USA affiliate, the City of Bee Cave is dedicated to educating the public and helping conserve this most important insect. Our one-of-a-kind Books & Bees Festival helps accomplish our two missions - share fantastic literature with kids and adults alike, featuring high-profile, bestselling authors – and teach our residents and their kiddos more about bees! We have so many fun activities, entertainment and readings in store, you will not want to miss this FREE event!

My Friends and I friendship book

While not participating at the event this year, check out Life Is Better With Friends' adorable friendship book My Friends and I on the local authors shelf at the Bee Cave Library!

My Friends and I is a fun, interactive memory book for children ages 5-12, that travels from friend to friend, who will answer questions like: What is your favorite food? What do you like to do in your free time? What songs do you like to listen to? What books do you like to read? What do you want to be when you grow up? A picture box allows them to insert a photograph or to draw a picture of their own.

The book is a wonderful way for kids to get to know the special people around them — family, friends, classmates, teachers, coaches and more — while building a cherished keepsake of their childhood memories.

Signed by every student in your child's class, the book also makes a thoughtful teacher gift for Teacher Appreciation Week or the end of the school year.
