Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Glimpse the future and get inspired!
Here are some of the makers at this year's event:
AARG is all about having fun and learning with and about rockets. Our monthly launches support all aspects of rocket flying, from small model rockets with youth groups to very large high power rockets with serious adult hobbyists.
My name is Rik and I love exploring, making, and sharing! I have developed the Picroscope: a low-cost, DIY, RPi-powered microscope for all ages. I have also built the Edison Head Impact System: a concussion-detection system for youth football teams
Make Your Own Soap: Learn how to make a bar of soap using a glycerin base you can easily melt and pour. You choose the color, fragrance & toy and go home with a completed soap! // Make Your Own Nail Polish: Create your own nail polishes on the spot!
Bots of Glory FTC Robotics Team will have an interactive demonstration of two different robots. The team will have challenges from different seasons set up, showing the range of robotic abilities and programming. Come and "try your hand" at playing!
