2017 Maker Faire: Two Days Full of Invention, Creativity, Education, Entertainment + Giveaway

Calling all tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, artists, students, and general curiosity-seekers of all ages:
The amazing Maker Faire Austin will return to the Palmer Events Center on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.!

The event will host over 200 makers from Texas and beyond and is full of invention, creativity, education, and entertainment

Here’s a preview of some of the makers:



Join 8 year old Eliana for demos & kits of "awesome squishy and fluffy" slimes and flubbers with glitter, beads, colors, shaving foam & more.

Utilizing the kids' imaginations, knowledge of circuitry and unlimited creativity, SPARK Young Makers will design, create & model their own TechSTYLES costumes.

Custom make your own hoop! Hoops of all sizes will be available for free play and exploration.

Young Maker Nicky Gonzalez learned how to Sand Blast Steel & Powder Coat Steel & Aluminum. He will share the welding skills he learned to create his Football Sport Gear Display.
