My Mummy is a Monster and My Daddy is a Monster by Natalie Reeves Billing [Book Review + Giveaway]


Today's featured books, My Daddy is a Monster/My Kids are Monsters and My Mummy is a Monster/My Children are Monsters by Natalie Reeves Billing and illustrated by Lisa Williams are part of  “The Monstrous Me Collection”. Both books are uniquely engaging and describe one story from two points of view, the children's and the father's and mother's respectively. Once you reach a certain place in the book, you flip the book over and read it again, it’s the same, yet different.

We have a new book review! Three Paws & Three Paws’ New Family was written by Karen Struck. With this book series, the author is encouraging children to "dream their life and live it".

The two-part series Three Paws and Three Paws’ New Family feature an Alaskan Grizzly cub named Boots. Boots sustains an injury that leaves him with a bit of a physical challenge. His dream has always been to be an expert salmon catcher, but this injury sets him back on his dream.

The child in this book asks a series of questions involving various animals and illnesses. The cartoon-like pictures help add to the creativity and charm of the book.
