Orpheus Academy of Music

Orpheus Academy of Music

Orpheus Academy of Music's mission is to foster a life-long passion for music in students of all ages in a musical learning environment that is nurturing and professional.

Orpheus Academy of Music teachers are dedicated to learning about your child's personal musical goals and helping them achieve them. Orpheus teachers take the time to interview each potential student to ensure that their music lesson experience is joyful and helps them achieve their personal goals and fullest potential.

Through a wide variety of programs, including guitar classes, piano classes, violin classes, singing and voice lessons, group musicianship classes, and Summer music camps Orpheus Academy of Music helps students develop life skills such as goal setting, perseverance, and creative problem solving.

Music Programs

Orpheus Academy of Music's programs help students develop a deep love of music by offering a balanced approach of fun musical activities and excellent instruction from some of the finest musicians from around the globe.

Young Musicians Programs

Give your child all they need to succeed on their favorite instrument! Students receive a complete music education through a combination of private instrumental or voice lessons and group musicianship classes. Private lessons with exceptional faculty cover technique, interpretation and repertoire while the musicianship classes use fun, interactive games to teach theory, ear-training, sight-singing, performance and more.

Young Adults & Adults Program

Adults and young adults receive a 45-minute or one-hour private lesson each week with one of our highly trained instructors on Piano, Guitar, Voice, Violin or Voice. Lessons will cover technique, musicianship, theory, ear-training and repertoire in a fun and nurturing environment. Students are assisted in achieving their highest possible musical aspirations, whether this is to play at home for friends, or in Carnegie Hall for thousands.

Chamber Music Program

One of the joys of learning to sing or play an instrument is to coming together to make music with others. Through the chamber music program, students of all ages may form duos, trios, quartets or quintets and benefit from the guidance of an experienced, professional musician. The library of chamber music has something for all levels and combinations of instruments.
