Amplify Austin Day Celebrates the Power of Giving Across our Community

Bring Your Family Together to Support 700 Local Nonprofits

Amplify Austin Day
Amplify Austin Day (March 2-3) is a Central Texas tradition. Since 2013, I Live Here I Give Here has been organizing this annual giving event. Amplify Austin Day has raised over $82 million for hundreds of local nonprofits across our 7-county region thanks to the power of collective giving.

Give back to the Austin community

Through the platform AmplifyATX.org, people can discover new local nonprofits to support. With over 700 participating nonpofits, we know it’s not always easy to decide where to give. Luckily, AmplifyATX.org makes finding organizations simple! Each nonprofit is organized by a “cause category.” You can search different causes from animal care and the environment to education and children. Once you select the causes that mean most to your family, you’ll be given a list of matching nonprofits.

Volunteering opportunities in and around Austin for your family

After Amplify Austin Day, you can even use AmplifyATX.org to find volunteering opportunities for your family. Giving back to the community can be year round too!

If you’re looking for more ways to get involved this Amplify Austin Day, here is a list of ways you can help:

  • Sign up for a family Fundraising Champion page! With this opportunity, your family can fundraise for one or many of your favorite local organizations. It’s a great way to teach your children the value and impact of giving back.

  • Buy a Giving eCard for your kids. This allows them to gift your donation to the local nonprofit of their choice. Giving eCards also make great gifts for teachers, friends, and family!

  • Get involved on Social Media by following I Live Here I Give Here. The I Live Here I Give Here team posts up to date information on local fundraisers like Amplify Austin Day and volunteer opportunities for you and your family all year long.
