Day Tripping for All!
The Science Mill is an amazing place to take children ages 2- 100. My 2 boys enjoy running around the exhibits, playing with their interactive features, and watching the 3D movie they have. My husband loves to sit and explain to them how it all works and ... play outside with their outdoor movement and motion exhibits. We even released butterflies one year. Amazing place to go, make a day of it and check out Johnson City!

Must Go Place for Kids
This is our “go to” when visiting north of ladybird lake! We stop across the street at Kendra Scott (for mommy) and then order food at the cafe. The kids can play for hours. Bonus is if you divide and conquer grocery shopping gets done too!

Bullock Texas State History Museum review on September 5, 2019
Ages Can Make a Difference
I have been to the museum 2 times. Once with a group of 6th graders. We had so much fun venturing through the rooms and my students told me it was their favorite part of the day. We spend an hour but did not view any movies. The second time was with my family of 2 and 4 year olds. This is less successful. They wanted more to touch and play... it was a lot of “stop, oh please don’t and don’t lick your hands after touching that.” The 4 year old has asked to go back so we will try it again in a few years!
