The Art Garage has been in business over 10 years and offers art education and art entertainment with their walk-in art studio, art camps, classes, corporate events and more.
They serve all ages! From their Storytime Art classes to wheel-throwing clay classes for adults, they have something for everyone.
To-go art kits for curbside pick-up from The Art Garage
The Art Garage is currently providing to-go art kits available for curbside pick up. Currently there are pottery painting and canvas kits, complete with acrylic paints and retraced canvas and videos on their YouTube to follow along and paint with an instructor.
With Pottery-To-Go you can order 2 or more pottery pieces and they can have them ready to drop off or they can bring them to you! The kits come with pottery, paint and brushes, everything you need to paint your perfect pottery piece. When done, just drop it off at The Art Garage and they will have it fired and ready 7 days later.
There are Storytime Art Kits complete with pottery to paint, a craft and a coloring page. Each of these also has a read aloud story that goes with them. Story time teacher, Miss Kim, will be posting a video to go with each of these kits, too.
Pottery Painting
A $10 kit comes with brushes for you to keep, 6 colored glazes and instructions on painting. Typically the kit includes enough glaze to paint 3-4 pottery pieces.
Get 2 pottery pieces for $40, 3 for $52, or 4 for $60. That is buy 3 get one FREE!
Pieces must be dropped off at The Art Garage for firing when finished. Painted art pieces will be available for pick-up one week after we receive them.
Canvas Painting
A $20 Kit comes with brushes, 6 or more paint colors, and the traced canvas of your choice.
Plus, there is a list of pottery to paint at special discounted prices. This list changes daily!
Simply, fill out this form and The Art Garage will give you a call to confirm and take payment. At that time, you can come to their location in SW Austin for curbside pick up or choose delivery (limited area) or shipping. After you paint pottery please return it to The Art Garage for firing, this makes your pieces complete and functional. They will fire them in their kilns and have them ready for pick-up within a week.
