Each week Squishy Banana Studios is creating a brand new short film in the comfort of your own home. Don't just sit around watching Netflix...create your own movies on your mobile device!!
Join Squishy Banana Studios in a start to finish movie making online class that will make the time fly by and keep our minds engaged.
From Monday to Friday at either 9:30 am or 4 pm (replay of lesson will be available) Squishy Banana Studios will meet online for an interactive class on how to write a screenplay and how to film a movie. They will provide everything you need and worksheets to print at home to complete on your own time after each lesson. Once you're done, your movie is ready to shoot! Grab your family, neighbors, some props and costumes, and film your movie. Squishy Banana Studios will provide resources on how to edit.
Here are some of the things your kids will be learning and creating:
- Brainstorming a story
- Creating Characters
- Location Scouting
- Storyboarding
- Learning About Camera Shots
- Writing a Screenplay
- How to Film Your Movie
- How to Edit
Each student or household will create their own movie completely from start to finish. You can film your movie on a smart phone or tablet. Fancy camera not required.
All ages are welcome to join. If you can read and write, you can make a movie!
Fee: $65. If you’re in a tight spot during this time, you are welcome to join for free no questions asked. Additionally, Squishy Banana Studios is also accepting scholarship donations.
