M.D.O Summer Camp

Each Tuesday and Thursday beginning June 5 - July 26 our schedule consist of Outdoor Activities (sidewalk chalk art, outdoor painting, shaving cream blast, water and sand play and parachute games), Group Activities (soup alphabets, math magic, social study & science concepts), social skill activities to promote (patience, gratitude, thankfulness, forgiveness & honesty). During Story time we would read stories like, The Good Samaritan, The Wise & Foolish Builder, The Ten lepers, The Talents, The Prodigal Son, Joseph's Coat of Many Colors & Zaccheus. Each story listed above will have an art project that will apply the scripture references to read later as a family. Our Mission Task activities consist of random acts of kindness, making good choices, thanking God, keeping the the laws, practicing forgiveness, show love and caring for a friend. Centers & Stations are always fun (dramatic play, large/small legos & blocks, Puzzles, art center, mail center, listening/reading center and a science center. Special days includes: shape, animal, hat/visor, cooking, transportation, camping, music expressions, show-n-tell, moonwalk, movie and ice cream days! And of course a morning snack will be provided.
