Owner Tami shared with us that while searching for the perfect home for Simply Home, she happened to drive past the little "yellow house"—a place she had never really noticed before. Something about it caught her eye, so she turned around, stopped to take a closer look, and despite its rough shape (it didn’t even have a front door!), she immediately knew it was the one. Without hesitation, she called her husband and said, “I found the perfect place.”
With a lot of hard work and a whole lot of love, the once-forgotten yellow house was transformed into the warm and inviting Simply Home Boutique that so many know and love today.

Their charming children’s room is thoughtfully divided into sections for different ages, offering an adorable selection of gifts for babies, preschoolers, school-age kids, and tweens. From cozy blankets and soft plushies to fun and stylish accessories, there’s something special for every stage of childhood. The boutique also carries an enchanting collection of books for all ages, making it easy to find a meaningful story for bedtime, a fun activity book, or an inspiring read for older kids.
One of the newest treasures at Simply Home is the My Friends and I friendship book, created by local mom and author Birgit Sund and her team at Life Is Better With Friends. This interactive, fill-in-the-blank book is packed with fun prompts like “What’s your favorite color?”, “What’s your favorite animal?”, and “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Kids pass it around to friends, classmates, teachers, and family, collecting answers and signatures along the way. By the time it returns to its owner, it’s filled with fun facts, doodles, and special memories—a heartfelt keepsake of childhood friendships to cherish for years to come.
