The past few months we’ve been researching and reviewing camp guides currently available for camps in and around Austin and found that most guides are available in either print, as a PDF, or simply as an online list with no search functionality.
Many camp providers offer multiple camps and camp sessions for different age groups, with different themes, at different dates, at multiple locations, and at different prices.
Parent-friendly and Easy to Use
In order to make finding the perfect camp for your little camper a breeze, we’ve created a super parent-friendly, easy and quick to use Camp Guide that includes not only general camp information, but also all available camp sessions of a particular camp.
Listing camps by camp sessions allows you to search for camps by:
- Interest
- Academic and Education Camps
- Adventure and Outdoors Camps
- Art Camps
- Music Camps
- Religious Camps
- Science / Technology / Engineering / Math (STEM) Camps
- Special Needs Camps
- Sports Camps
Our Camp Guide already lists well over 500 camp sessions, and more sessions are added daily.

While the use of our camp guide does not require you to be a member of Live Grow Play Austin (which is 100% free), as a member you do have the following advantages when using our Camp Guide:
- Save a camp - If you find several camps that would be a good fit for your child, or if you need more time to decide or to discuss potential camps with your family, you have the option to save a camp and come back at a later time.
- Review a camp – Whether you’d give a camp a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down, you can share your kiddo’s camp experience and a leave a review for any camp your child has attended.
