General Info: CHFTX is a local chapter of the national non-profit organization, Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF). CHF is dedicated to bringing health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects – the number one birth defect in the United States – by funding the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects. At the local level, CHFTX helps raise awareness of congenital heart defects and also helps to organize fundraisers; the proceeds of which are used to support the mission of CHF in the funding of research projects.
