Female owned local business: best music/Apanish classes in the whole country I would say :)

By on November 13, 2019
After going to a free class with my 2 youngest we have not stopped coming. We have had two wonderful instructors so far who are extremely caring, loving and who have so much to teach us! They create an amazing environment in the classroom where we all feel safe and comfortable to learn as much as we can and to have a lot of fun in the process. I get super excited when I see my 4 year old singing the songs in Spanish and my 2 year old singing some words along with him and am amazed to see how quickly they absorb all the information and it seems that they can understand all the things in Spanish the teachers tell and sing in class. And that goes without saying that I admire them so much because they are a local female owned business here in Austin. That makes me really proud and I always want to support them! Because they are truly amazing and deserve this support!

One of the best experiences our family has had

By on November 13, 2019
Music has always been so important in my family. My wife and I have always done everything to nurture it in our twins since they were born. We knew we wanted them to be in an early childhood music program and started searching. When we found out about a class where our kids could learn Music but also be immersed in another language we knew we had hit a jackpot for our children's cognitive development. And indeed we have because since the day we joined we have already received so many benefits. The classes are so well designed, our instructor is a guru in music, Spanish and in early childhood development. We get to have an amazing bonding time as a family when we go and we continue having it at home when we sing, dance and do the activities we learn in class. We are already sad just thinking about when our kids get older and cannot go anymore, but we are definitely planning on staying at Mi casa es tu casa as long as we can!

We are all learning so much! Highly recommend it!

Our family is of Latin descent but our Spanish is pretty rusty. Our family understands the importance of learning another language for children, especially Spanish which is so dear to us. When we found our there was a program that taught Spanish and music to families with little ones we knew that was something we needed to try. And indeed it has been one of the greatest experiences we have had in our lives. Our children are learning so much but we are learning even more! We now get to sing the songs and do the activities at home and our Spanish is getting better! And the best part is that our children have a lot of fun and besides learning the language we are learning better ways of raising them because they give us awesome parenting tips there. I could not recommend a program more. Seriously. Thank you Mi Casa for all you do for our family!

Educational, Informative, and Super Fun!

By on December 4, 2018
My son is 10 months old, and my husband and I have been taking him to Spanish music classes at Mi Casa es Tu Casa since he was around 5 months old. Our teacher Laura is a true renaissance woman, and each class combines her passions for clinical psychology, language acquisition, and music. The music reinforces the Spanish that we teach our son at home. The songs are seriously catchy and we find ourselves singing/humming them to keep our son calm during diaper changes and other transitions. But most importantly, each class is an opportunity for our little family to bond and have fun together. The classes at Mi Casa Es Tu Casa are pure magic, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Best Spanish Baby Music Class!

By on December 3, 2018
I absolutely love this music class! I take my 15 month old every week, and you can see how excited she gets when we pull up to the class! She has been going since she was about 4 months old, and she has grown with the music. She now hums, echoes, and dances to the music in class and in the car! She cleans up her toys to the clean up song in Spanish! It's priceless. Laura, the instructor, is so engaging and entertaining! She has an amazing energy and you can tell she loves what she does! If you are looking for a way to teach your child Spanish or just looking for a fun way to bond with your baby, this class is highly recommended!

An incredible gift to our children! Not enough great things to say about Mi Casa es Tu Casa!

We’ve been taking our 2.5 year-old son since he was 1 and he absolutely loves this class!!! Laura is so talented and makes such a wonderful space for our children to explore musical instruments, sing, dance and learn Spanish at the same time. And it’s heart warming to see how much she showers our kids with love! As an added bonus, before taking this class we couldn’t find a way for our son to pick up his toys (or anything he grabs); now we just start singing the same mini-song they sing in class when it’s time to return the musical instruments back to their boxes and... lo and behold, our son starts taking everything back to its place!! Highly recommended even if you don’t speak Spanish!
