General Info: We are not a ministry, but a service to moms. However, we are sponsored by LiveOak Church. This means we provide both fun social events and opportunities to learn more about Jesus Christ. ***events are always clearly defined as either social or something more - no bait n' switch here.*** We reach out to Moms all over greater Northwest Austin: Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, Steiner Ranch, Riverplace and more. Why we do it... Being a Mom is one of the most rewarding - and hardest- jobs in the world. You can feel disconnected and out of touch, spending most of your time changing diapers and using too much Purell. LiveOak Moms group is a way to reconnect. We provide Weekly Playdates, monthly Night's Out, and Family Events that give you and your family a way to get out and play. How we do it... LiveOak Church provides: funding, website, advertising, staff hours,facility rental Why does LiveOak Church do this??? B/c they believe in families and they believe in moms. Whether you go to church . . .or not, believe what they do . . .or not, LiveOak Church thinks Moms are important and wants to provide a way for us to connect and be supported.
