General Info: Rising Stars is a teaching/performing program for young people grades K-12, supported and sponsored by Lake Travis Music Theatre, Inc. There are two semesters offered every year which coincide with the school year. Students learn many skills during classes that include theater games and exercises in improvisation, concentration, characterization, pantomime, basic theater and stage terminology and actual rehearsals for a play or musical presentation at the end of the semester. Other skills include leadership, poise, creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration, time management, teamwork and much more!
