Whether students are experiencing challenges socially, emotionally, or academically, Courtney has an unparalleled ability to connect and support them. She helps students develop a deeper level of self-awareness and understanding of themselves in order to build self-agency. With Courtney's coaching, students feel empowered, optimistic, and in control of their own progress. She is truly inspiring, for "grown ups" and children alike! Kids also love her laid back yet ambitious demeanor- she's just cool enough to relate to today's trends, and just silly enough to model for kids how to laugh at themselves when something decidedly "uncool" happens in life.

Courtney turns even the most stonewalled situation into one of love and compassion, unearthing tough emotions, mirroring and validating back what a person says, and honoring the freeing of words as a Phoenix moment to recreate a realistic goal. She is supportive and encouraging, as well thoughtful and patient. I highly recommend her!
