General Info: Our coalition, 20 yrs ago, helped established the current breastfeeding in public law that states that a mom has the right to breastfeed in any location that the mother is authorized to be. We have worked to establish appropriate breastfeeding policy throughout AISD and surrounding school districts, and now work closely with the statewide breastfeeding coalition to continue to advocate for mother friendly legislation. We hold many events throughout the year to celebrate moms and normalize breastfeeding and our website has the most comprehensive list of private practice IBCLCs and breastfeeding resources in the Austin Area. We are always in need of more volunteers and love to partner with other organizations. Our regular meetings occur on the first Friday of each month from 12:30-2:00pm at 1000 E 11th st. 4th floor conference room. Meetings are open to the public and children are always welcome.
