General Info

Casey’s Circle is a nonprofit dedicated to helping families of children with special needs find ways for their kids to be kids first – patients later. We do this by providing tools, education, resources and opportunities to help improve the quality of life for medically complex children, their families and their providers, while also strengthening their circle of care.

Volunteer Opportunities

We love working with the community and welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities. Some of the different volunteer roles we offer include:

Event Helpers (our event helpers make sure everyone is having a good time. They check to make sure no one needs anything, everyone is included, etc. Depending on the event this role does vary some.)
Event Hosts (our event hosts are 15+. The roles of the hosts include things such as checking in guest, keeping supplies stocked, handing out gifts or information, setting up and cleaning up)
Home Helpers (through out the year we have a lot of events. We can always use home helpers to coordinate book drives, wrap gifts, make decorations or other special crafts, promote events, toy drives, etc)
Tree Decorators/Clean Up (in early December we need a group of volunteers - usually kids like to do this - to decorate a very special tree with the ornaments made to honor children that have passed away. This usually takes about an hour and is a fun way to teach kids about volunteering. Then the first weekend in January we need another group of volunteers to help us take everything down.)
Entertainers (lots of schools, churches and youth groups have choirs, bands, or other types of performers. We welcome group performers to come and perform at our events. The party guest love to see performers coming out to make their events extra special. If you want to come sing, dance, or perform in any way, we would love to have you come out. We welcome adults and professionals as well.)
Child Care (we have a handful of training events through out the year. If you are interested in helping to entertain kids that are in our child care during these events they can always use a buddy.)
