General Info: For over 50 years, Camp Fire Central Texas has actively engaged youth and teens in building essential skills for life. Camp Fire provides services to children, youth, and families that help them build confidence, resiliency, and an appreciation for the world around them. Our programs help students foster skills that allow them to thrive in and out of the classroom, lead healthy lifestyles, and reach their fullest potential. Camp Fire Central Texas utilizes the environment, nature skills, and STEM activities as a vehicle for students to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are, while garnering an appreciation for their community and environmental consciousness for the future.
Volunteer Opportunities: Join us on April 1, 2017 at Emma Long Metro Park for a Community Cleanup Event! Volunteers are needed to help us clean up the park, which is the new home to our Summer STEM Camp (Camp Balcones). We'll be picking up trash, building a deck, replacing fencing, painting HQ and more!
