General Info: Annunciation Maternity Home is a free, full service home for young women (ages 12 and up) who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy. We offer long-term care that begins when the resident arrives and ends only when she and her baby have a safe environment in which to return. The Annunciation Maternity Home (AMH), was founded in 2001 in Georgetown, Texas. AMH is the only nationally accredited maternity home in Texas providing free services to young women who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy. Located on 22.98 acres in Georgetown, Texas, the campus includes two residences with the capacity to house 26 women and their children, an accredited University of Texas Charter High School, a licensed Infant Development Center, a Life Skills Training Classroom, a counseling room, and administrative offices. In addition, a warehouse which stores all donated items to the Home is also located on the property. The agency is governed by an 11 member Board of Directors. Since inception, AMH has served 650 young women and children.
